ODROID-XU4Q (With Passive Heatsink)
ODROID-XU4Q aka XU4 Quiet is basically the same XU4 board but the time there is no cooling fan but a taller heatsink. As far as the processing is concerned, ODROID-XU4Q is a Heterogeneous Multi-Processing solution powered by big.Little (ARM) technology. ODROID-XU4Q is compatible with Linux, Ubuntu (including 16.04), and Android (KitKat 4.4, Lollipop 5.0, Nougat 7.1). The data transfer speed of ODROID-XU4 boards is above average thanks to the Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, and eMMC 5.0 interfaces. It means that booting, networking, 3D Gaming, and Web Browsing are faster in the case of ODROID-XU4 PCs.

Description
You have a couple of options to boot the Operating System on XU4Q. They are the eMMC Module and MicroSD Card. However, we recommend the eMMC because it works fast when booting Operating System, launching the apps, and accessing the Cloud.
As mentioned earlier, the only difference between XU4 and XU4Q is the cooling management system. XU4(Quiet) comes with the passive heatsink so there is no cooling fan in this case. It is a taller heatsink so you could not use the sifter-shield or an add-on shield when the heatsink is mounting.
